1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the ServiceLink SA Contractor Portal ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access the Platform or use our services.

2. Service Description

ServiceLink SA operates a lead generation and distribution platform connecting contractors with potential customers. We provide:

  • Lead delivery services via WhatsApp and email
  • Contractor profile management
  • Lead purchase and credit management
  • Payment processing services

We act as an intermediary platform and do not guarantee job completion, customer satisfaction, or payment from customers.

3. Registration and Account

3.1 Account Creation

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Account Verification

We reserve the right to verify contractor information including but not limited to:

  • Business registration documents
  • Tax clearance certificates
  • Trade license verification
  • Reference checks

3.3 Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Providing false information
  • Violating these terms
  • Fraudulent activities
  • Multiple customer complaints

4. Lead Purchases and Delivery

4.1 Lead Definition

A "lead" consists of customer contact information and job details for potential service opportunities.

4.2 Lead Delivery

  • Leads are delivered instantly upon purchase
  • Delivery methods include WhatsApp and email
  • We are not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect contact information

4.3 Lead Quality

While we vet leads for quality, we cannot guarantee:

  • Job will be awarded to you
  • Customer budget accuracy
  • Job location accuracy
  • Customer responsiveness

4.4 Lead Refunds

Lead purchases are non-refundable except in cases of:

  • Duplicate leads
  • Incorrect service category
  • Fake or fraudulent leads
  • Technical errors on our platform

Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of lead purchase.

5. Payments and Refunds

5.1 Credit Purchases

  • Credits are purchased in advance
  • Credits expire after 12 months of inactivity
  • All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR)
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Direct Cash Deposit at ATMs
  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard)
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
  • Other payment methods as announced

5.3 Subscription Plans

Subscription plans:

  • Are billed monthly in advance
  • Automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
  • No prorated refunds for early cancellation

6. Contractor Conduct

6.1 Professional Standards

Contractors must:

  • Respond to leads within 2 hours during business hours
  • Provide professional service estimates
  • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6.2 Prohibited Activities

Contractors may not:

  • Harass or spam customers
  • Share leads with third parties
  • Misrepresent services or qualifications
  • Use the platform for illegal activities
  • Attempt to bypass our lead system

6.3 Customer Ratings

Customer ratings and reviews are visible to other customers. We reserve the right to remove contractors with consistently poor ratings.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Platform Liability

ServiceLink SA's liability is limited to:

  • The amount paid for leads in dispute
  • Direct damages caused by platform errors

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Lost profits or business opportunities
  • Customer-contractor disputes
  • Service quality or completion issues

7.2 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ServiceLink SA harmless from any claims arising from your use of the platform or your services to customers.

8. Termination

8.1 By Contractor

You may terminate your account at any time by:

  • Contacting support
  • No further charges will be made
  • Unused credits may be forfeited

8.2 By ServiceLink SA

We may terminate accounts for:

  • Violation of terms
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Legal requirements
  • Platform discontinuation

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be:

  • Posted on this page
  • Effective 30 days after posting
  • Notified via email for major changes

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
